Reflection & Practice in the Inspiring Connections curriculum afford students the opportunity to think about what they are learning and practice the skills they need to be successful. For every lesson there are six problems for students to complete outside of class. The first problem is a problem that can be completed with mental math. The next one or two problems address the standards that students worked on in that days’ lesson. The last three to four problems cover topics students previously encountered in the course or a writing prompt, asking students to reflect on their learning. These problems list the lesson in which students learned about the topic so the students can review if needed. Answers to select problems can be made viewable online by the teacher.
