If any of the proposals are accepted, notify Bob Petersen and the Professional Learning Projects Manager about the conference, the session, and other information he should know. Use the List of Approved Conference Sessions on the intranet to locate the handouts. When ready send them to Bob as a pdf and he will copy your handouts and send them to you or the conference. If you are doing a session on algebra or integer tiles, he can also include baggies of samples of the tiles, for you to use and pass out to the participants for them to keep. They are one variable tiles, so keep that in mind. If you need hinged mirrors for your presentation, let him know and he can send those also.
Conference Session-Procedures in Intranet gives information about compensation for conferences. Please be good stewards of CPM funds by submitting a reasonable number of proposals to conferences. For a state math conference, no more than five or six sessions is appropriate.
